There will be two major deliverables in this Elderly Healthcare Solution Platform project: 1. Dynamic device management Medical device profile related to GUI display template, protocol, and behavior of sending collected health data for dynamic data management. This can remove the difficulty arises from proliferation of vital sign measurement devices faced by elderly. 2. Sharing & notification for platform enhancement Sharing & notification capability to facilitate caregivers involved in elderly healthcare.

Description:

Elderly Healthcare Solution Platform project aims to develop a platform specifically targeting on elderly healthcare for both enterprise and consumer markets (such as elderly healthcare centers and the home). The problems related to elderly healthcare in general are: awareness of chronic diseases prevention, persistence on personal healthcare and hiding complexity from elderly in using connected vital sign measurement devices to realize good user experience. The problems faced in elderly healthcare could be removed or alleviated by utilizing ICT through dynamic device management as well as allowing caregivers’ involvement in healthcare through sharing and notification capability.
