Description:

This project aims to develop test and analysis instrument technologies for DTMB under the framework of ASTRI-Tsinghua Multimedia Broadcasting & Communications R&D Lab. By leveraging and combining wireless communication technical strength in Communications Technologies Group at ASTRI and Digital Terrestrial Mobile Broadcasting expertise of DTV R&D Center at Tsinghua University, the Joint Lab will establish foundation and framework to engage close collaboration in a series of near term and strategic research and development programs. The instrumentation technologies project is identified as one of the near term core programs. The project will design and develop DTMB measurement and analysis tools necessary to build the test equipment. A number of equipment vendors, including Broadcast Technology Ltd. (Hong Kong) and Tektronix, have also demonstrated their specific interests in the instrumentation technology to be developed in the project.
