DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) is built upon a series of networks of databases that allow participants to create, disseminate and store information in an efficient and secure manner. These networks of databases can operate smoothly and securely without the need for any central party or central administrator that every participant knows and trusts. Current DLT operations are designed in such a way that information stored and communicated, and every participant in the non-hierarchical network can get simultaneous access to a common view of the information. In this proposal, we aim to build a hierarchical distributed ledger platform with hierarchical consensus algorithm, cross-chain communication and DLT gateway service. The roles of a DLT node are separated into roles of Endorser, Orderer and Committer for efficient hierarchical consensus process; Chain Router empowers DLT to connect and communicate cross chains; DLT gateway service provides a friendly user interface for development. In contrast to most existing distributed ledger and blockchain platforms today, our platform advance DLT with more value in commerce adoption and vitalize traditional industries.
