Description:

Project objectives: 1. To detect human-modified document images. 2. To detect AI-generated document images. ASTRI solutions: A new AI technology for manipulated document detection will be developed. New deep-learning models will be developed for AI-generated image detection. A comprehensive software platform will be developed to support fraud detection. Impacts and benefits: The accuracy of fraud detection will be improved. The fraud detection system helps protect financial institutes from financial loss due to document fraud. It allows for automatic processing of a large volume of documents leading to significant manpower cost reduction.
