Dr Justin Chuang, Vice President, Next Generation Network, and Dr James Lei, Acting Director, Intelligent Software & System of ASTRI were invited to attend the Topping-out and Signing Ceremony of Hengqin New District’s Highlight Project cum First Meeting of the Second Development Consultation Committee of Hengqin New District held on 6 December 2016 in Hengqin. ASTRI and the Management Committee of Hengqin New District signed a collaboration agreement focusing on conducting R&D activities, the nurture and exchange of FinTech talents, deepening the collaboration amongst Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, and expanding the FinTech market, etc.
Dr Chuang and Mr. Niu Jing, Director of Management Committee of Hengqin New District signed the collaboration agreement. Witnesses of the ceremony included Mr Ho Hau-wah, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and Chairman of the Consultation Committee, Mr Guo Yuanqiang, Secretary of CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee, Mr Zheng Renhao, Mayor of Zhuhai, Mr Wang Qingli, Deputy Mayor of Zhuhai, Ms Liu Jia, Member of Standing Committee of Zhuhai Municipal Committee and Secretary of Hengqin New District, Mr Liu Bin, Minister of Economic Affairs Department of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, Mr Agostinho Vong, Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, etc.
