Job Description


The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) was founded by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 2000 with the mission of enhancing Hong Kong’s competitiveness through applied research. ASTRI’s core R&D competence in various areas is grouped under four Technology Divisions: Communications Technologies, Trust and AI Technologies, Integrated Circuits and Systems, and IoT Sensing and AI Technologies.

It is applied across six core areas which are Smart City, Financial Technologies, Intelligent Manufacturing and Re-Industrialization, Digital Health, Application Specific Integrated Circuits, and Metaverse.

Over the years, ASTRI has nurtured a pool of research, I&T talents and received numerous international awards for its pioneering innovations as well as outstanding business and community contributions. To date, ASTRI has transferred over 800 technologies to the industries and been granted more than 900 patents in the Mainland, the US, and other countries.

To support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an organized, efficient professional to help with event and CRM support to facilitate the building of technology ecosystems:
  • Support membership lead follow-up, and all-round membership management including payment, information sharing and logistics of members’ engagement in our activities.
  • Provide administrative supports for CRM system and its customization
  • Support the planning and execution of a wide range of marketing initiatives, including but not limited to events / partnerships / webinars / seminar / marketing collateral, etc.
  • Manage all pre- and post-event activities including promotion, invitation, enrolment, payment, evaluation, report and social media feed, etc. and work closely with other internal teams and external parties to ensure a seamless execution.
  • Support the coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including the R&D teams, marketing team and sales team.
  • Promote tech capabilities for the products you support with relevant internal and external partners.
  • Ad-hoc project task as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 3 years’ experience, preferably in event and customer relationship management.
  • Being result-oriented, organized and passionate to develop a career in Innovation and Technology industry;
  • Ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus
  • Proactive and energetic team player but also would work independently;

The appointment will be on a 18-month contract terms with a competitive salary. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
