Job Responsibilities

  • Lead ASTRI’s Health Technology business.
  • Develop the Health Technology strategy, roadmap and core areas of focus.
  • Grow and develop the Health Technology business. Lead and drive marketing, sales, partnerships and business development.
  • Work directly with CEO, executive team and Board of Directors on the priority of ASTRI’s Health Technology projects.
  • Collaborate with ASTRI cross functional teams to drive Health Technology opportunities across organization.
  • Represent ASTRI on all Health Technology related business, events, opportunities and partnerships.
  • Drive short term Health Technology projects as well as long term Health Technology strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above preferably in science and technology related field with 10 years of experience working in the life sciences and health technology sector.
  • Proven experience in medical technology and diagnostics sector with experience in pharmaceutical is a plus.
  • Experience working with leading global medical diagnostics companies.
  • Areas of experiences can include but are not limited to: medical technology, health technology, diagnostics technology, big data, wearables, consumer health, healthcare IT.
  • Functional skill sets include:  business development, commercialization, product development, product launch, sales and marketing.
  • Experience includes: 1) ability to quickly learn and understand new leading – edge technology 2) ability to connect and link different technologies together to understand potential implications and impact of technology 3) ability to provide and design specific applications using the technology 4) ability to put together business plan and rationale of new technology and its application 5) ability to share and sell technology with clients and business partners.
  • Strong network and contacts in diagnostics field is a plus.
  • Strong communication, writing and presentations skills. Ability to take complex ideas and describe it simply and efficiently in both English and Cantonese. Understanding of basic Mandarin is essential.

Appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work under a five-day week schedule.
