EPC (evolved packet core) is the all-IP mobile core network for 3GPP LTE. Besides enabling IP connectivity for the LTE network to the core IP network, LTE-EPC also enables seamless mobility for mobile users.

ASTRI, with deep understanding of LTE and EPC, offers the LTE-EPC solution comprising three logical network entities: Mobility Management Entity (MME), Serving Gateway (S-GW) and Packet Data Network Gateway (P-GW).

Highlights of ASTRI's LTE EPC Solution

  • All-IP flat network architecture
  • Separation of control plane and data plane
  • End-to-end QoS management and service control through policy control and charging (PCC) architecture
  • Seamless mobility support
  • Authentication, authorization and data integrity
  • Migrate to support both 3GPP and Non-3GPP access
