磁共振掃描是最有效瞭解嬰兒腦部發育及檢測嬰兒腦部疾病的無害影像方法。磁共振培養箱能為嬰兒進行磁共振掃描時提供一個安全和合適的環境。 此項目將設計一個擁有以下特點的磁共振培養箱：(1) 綜合性監察生命系數設備; (2) 針對嬰兒不同部位而設計的高性能銅製接收線圈, 以提高訊噪比(能縮短掃描時間或提高影像質素); (3) 高溫超導接收線圈以提高低場磁振系統的訊噪比, 減低掃描成本；(4)安全可靠的低溫容器用以冷凍高溫超導線圈。 我們並會製作專為嬰兒設計的銅製及冷凍高溫超導線圈樣本。
