5G Standalone (SA) network delivers the real power of 5G as it provides tremendous flexibility to formulate networks based on application needs. The project will focus on building and enhancing 5G core network functions to complete an end-to-end 5G network. At the same time, the 5G SA core network to be developed will be lightweight to significantly reduce the cost and complexity to deploy private 5G networks. Riding on the leadership of ASTRI in 5G core user plane function (achieve 200Gbps leading market performance), the project team has been engaging a lot of industry players and partners to collaborate and create 5G applications.
