Every battery product has a limited lifespan. When we dispose of batteries in large quantities, it pollutes our environment and cause many more harmful effects. Low profit margins and low efficiency are the key challenges faced by the recycling progress. The recycling of batteries is also very time-consuming, especially when there are many different types of batteries involved.

ASTRI’s improved screening solution uses AI to optimise battery analysis and simplifying the test procedure. It significantly shortens the screening time by at least 75% while reducing the energy required for analysis by 95%. The optimised test setup time drops from up to around 24 hours to less than 15 minutes. Moreover, with the help of AI, the battery’s estimated State-of-Health (SOH) goes up to more than 99.7%.
