New Energy Module with Thermal Regulating Design
With the pandemic deeply impacting communities and businesses worldwide, sound logistics management is essential for ensuring the efficient flow and movement of goods. However, warehouses are constantly experiencing long idle times while charging mobile robots / Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). Moreover, battery overheating also creates safety risks and inhibits conventional charging speeds.
ASTRI invented a new energy module with a thermal regulating design to overcome these difficulties. The thermal conductive composite layer can be functionalised with a chemical coupling interface and gradient structure to improve cooling efficiency and decrease the energy module’s temperature during rapid charging. This technology can improve energy pack operating efficiency, drastically minimise mobile robot downtime, while simultaneously increasing productivity.
