In this project, reflective pulse oximeter module which can be integrated into mobile phone and digital plaster will be used as the demonstration vehicles. The deliverables of the project are as follows:
• Prototypes for pulse oximetry measurement for mobile phone integration, including:
1. Sensor module;
2. Signal processing module;
3. System/algorithm implementation
• Prototypes for digital plaster, including
1. Pulse oximetry module;
2. Wireless communication module;
3. Flexible packaging
• Preliminary clinical trial results for pulse oximetry module
• Licensable HE-based packaging technologies & multi-discipline integration, protocol design and implementation
• Technical report of HE market intelligence survey including market status, application targets & IP mapping
• HE-related IPs including at least 4 patents

随著世界人口老龄化的加剧，越来越多的人受到慢性病的困扰，他们都需要大量的长期的家庭医疗服务，而与之相对的却是医疗服务和医护人员的严重短缺。因此，未来的医疗服务将慢慢从医院延伸到家庭中，而且现代人越来越在意自己的健康状况，这些都为医疗保健产品创造出巨大的市场需求。据预测，中国地区可擕式医疗保健电子产品的市场总额将超过126亿人民币，其中的65%，约83亿的产品为家庭应用。为了让人们可以随时随地瞭解自己的健康状况，我们需要将模组化的医疗保健电子产品整合应用到消费类电子中，方便人们完成测量。在模组化医疗保健电子产品的研发中，感测器与封装技术是必不可少的，其中封装设计将需要光、电、热机械等多领域技术协同完成。本专案将把反射式脉衝血氧计整合应用到手机和数位贴膏中。所使用的光、电、热机械设计技术将进一步应用到未来医疗电子产品中，如血糖测量，血液中酒精浓度测量等。
