    為了實現2020年啟動規模商用的目標,5G的研究和發展在全球範圍內正積極地進行。相較於4G而言,5G是一個萬物互聯的網絡,它將實現對於包括高速移動數據服務、多樣設備的無線連接服務、以及高可靠性服務在內的更多場景的網絡支撐和應用。為了實現5G網絡的諸多高性能,利用更高的頻段、運用更多的無線介入技術、以及部署更密的網絡節點,成為了可預見的實現方式。因此,下一代無線通信網絡將以多層異構網配以新型接入技術的形式出現。 在此背景下,ASTRI計劃研發一套概念驗證(proof-of-concept)的5G基站模型和仿真平台,用以推動公司的技術發展。該平台可支持的下一代異構網絡中的接入技術具體包括以下幾點: (a)毫米波(millimeter wave)接入技術。具體包括蜂窩網初始接入算法,波束捕獲和追蹤算法。 (b)多種無線接入技術共存及交互配合。包括頻譜共享中干擾避免和干擾緩解算法,以及多種接入技術之間的移動性及聚合算法。 (c)多收發點(transmission reception points)的協同傳輸及協同接收。包括發點的選取算法,多收發點的同步算法,及其聯合傳輸/接收算法。 該項目所研發的接入技術將可應用於提升4G/5G網絡的服務質量以及推進5G標準的演進。 對於這一立項,為數不少的公司已經表達了與ASTRI合作並汲取該項目技術產出的強烈興趣。初期已參與合作的客戶公司包括: 移動終端製造商(TCL)、移動通信設備專業廠商(福建三源達)、以及運營商(PCCW)。中興、大唐、信威等其他公司也以達成此項目的技術轉移為目標與ASTRI接洽中。
