ASTRI and KingMed Center for Clinical Laboratory Co. Ltd. (KingMed Diagnostics) signed an agreement to transfer technologies on 23 September 2015. KingMed Diagnostics is the largest independent diagnostic laboratory and pathology service provider in China. ASTRI’s technology will assist KingMed’s expansion into digital pathology business.
The relevant agreement was signed by Dr Frank Tong, Chief Executive Officer of ASTRI, and Mr Yao-ming Liang, Board Chairman and CEO of KingMed Diagnostics. Witnesses of the ceremony included Mr Zheng-yong Ma, Director-General of Guangzhou Science Technology and Innovation Commission, Mr Vincent Chi-leung Tang, Assistant Commissioner for Innovation and Technology (Infrastructure & Quality Services), etc.
