ASTRI Technovation Day, organised jointly by ASTRI and Hong Kong Cyberport, will take place on 16 July 2018. As the largest applied R&D institution in Hong Kong, ASTRI strives to leverage the power of technology to enhance Hong Kong’s global competitiveness. Partnering with Cyberport, ASTRI seeks to contribute to the development of Hong Kong’s Innovation and Technology (I&T) ecosystem through the ASTRI Technovation Day. The event aims to strengthen the collaborations and connectivity between technology firms based in Cyberport, including start-ups, by boosting technological capabilities, sharing useful information about project funding resources, and updating the participants on ASTRI’s technology partnership models. By bringing together technology experts from ASTRI and from across industries, the event will act as a platform to bolster the collective efforts of different players within Hong Kong’s I&T ecosystem.
The ASTRI Innovation Day’s agenda include sharing sessions on topics such as Blockchain Applications, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics, Healthcare Technologies, Cybersecurity and Biometric Authentication. Last but not least, ASTRI will facilitate a business matching session specifically catering to start-ups operating in the AI and Blockchain streams.
