Description
The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) was founded by the HKSAR Government in 2000 with a mission of enhancing Hong Kong’s competitiveness in technology based industries through applied research. Owing to the continuous expansion in our R&D activities, we are seeking qualified professionals to provide the following consultancy services:
Service Scope
- Teaching of domain knowledge of renal biopsy pathology image analysis, the image includes the light microscopy, electron microscopy and immunofluorescence microscopy images. And the contents include:
- Different kind of normal/abnormal glomerulus
- Different kind of normal/abnormal renal tubule
- Small vessels
- Immunofluorescence deposition pattern and range analysis
- Defining the specific problems and needs of kidney pathology image analysis
- Review algorithm result
Requirements
- Renal pathology professionals with at least 10 years of relevant experience;
- PhD in medical science or related disciplines.
Deliverables
- Provide around three thousand labelled renal biopsy pathology images in light microscopy, electron microscopy and immunofluorescence microscopy format, the images should include:

- Different kind of normal renal tubule
- Normal small vessels

- Different kind of abnormal glomerulus
- Different kind of abnormal renal tubule
- Abnormal small vessels

9 months (Part-time mode)
