- Development on imaging processing software and system integration of computer vision systems for industrial applications
- Research on latest 3D vision algorithms, defects inspection algorithms
- Design and evaluation of vision software architecture
- Literature review and patent reading
- Preparation of technical documents
- PhD holder or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or relevant disciplines with minimum 3 years of related experience. Candidates with less experience may also be considered.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python, experience in cross-platform programming.
- Solid understanding in data structure, algorithms, computer vision and image processing. Experience in defects inspection, 3D point cloud generation and data processing algorithm development. GPU programming, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV and CUDA is a plus.
- Experience in software system integration, SDK development & implementation. GUI development and industrial protocol such as I2C, RS232/485, Modbus programming is a plus.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
