Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop compact optical modules for gas, liquid and materials sensing.
- Perform experiments, validation test and data analysis for the optical modules.
- Work with other engineering team members to build prototypes for smart sensing.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or relevant disciplines, including non-local applicant.
- Experienced in Optical system design, setup and experiments.
- Experience in spectroscopic/optics instrumentation is beneficial
- Familiar with Zemax, Lighttools or other optical simulation software is a plus.
- Familiar with MatLab, C/C++, LabView and/or other programming languages is a plus.
- Good written and communication skills; strong team spirit and interpersonal skills; independent and responsible.
