Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop compact optical modules for gas, liquid and materials sensing.
  • Perform experiments, validation test and data analysis for the optical modules.
  • Work with other engineering team members to build prototypes for smart sensing.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or relevant disciplines, including non-local applicant.
  • Experienced in Optical system design, setup and experiments.
  • Experience in spectroscopic/optics instrumentation is beneficial
  • Familiar with Zemax, Lighttools or other optical simulation software is a plus.
  • Familiar with MatLab, C/C++, LabView and/or other programming languages is a plus.
  • Good written and communication skills; strong team spirit and interpersonal skills; independent and responsible.
