Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop compact optical modules for food and plastic materials sensing
- Perform experiments, validation test and data analysis for the optical modules
- Work with other engineering team members to build prototypes for smart sensing
Requirements
- Graduate in STEM-related discipline such as Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or relevant discipline
- A bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or a doctoral degree’s holder is welcome to apply
- For bachelor’s degree holder, they will be considered for the position of Engineering Associate (PI)
- Experienced in Optical system design, setup and experiments
- Experience in spectroscopic/optics instrumentation is beneficial
- Familiar with Zemax, Lighttools or other optical simulation software
- Familiar with MatLab, C/C++, LabView and/or other programming languages
- Good written and communication skills; strong team spirit and interpersonal skills; independent and responsible
