Job Responsibilities
- Work with other engineering team members to build optical modules (such as spectroscopic or optic scattering) for food safety and environmental sensing applications.
- Carry out tests and data analysis for the developed optical modules.
- Assist in developing both hardware and software for the module function and the system integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics or related discipline with 6+ years’ experience, Master Degree with 3+ years’ experience, or Ph.D. holder in a related area. Candidates with less experience will be considered as an Engineer.
- Knowledge of optical sensor technologies and applications.
- Hand-on experience in spectroscopy system development (optical design & set up).
- Experience in spectroscopic data processing and interpretation for Raman spectrum is a plus.
- Experience in optical design software such as Zemax is a plus.
- Experience with UI and lab automation with Matlab, LabView and/or other programming languages is a plus.
