Job Responsibilities
- Self-sufficient to develop test plan and test methodology on power packages/modules/subsystems/systems, such as the IGBT/GaN/SiC modules, DC-DC converters, digitally controlled power supplies, PV inverters, etc.
- To perform electrical test and trouble-shoot the above-mentioned power electronics solutions and products.
- To work with the development team to ensure system performance according to specifications and quality requirements.
- To conduct literature and marketing review on products, patents and research papers to collect background information and assist in preparing proposal draft.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Power Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines with 6 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years of experience, or PhD in related area. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Engineer.
- Familiar with popular power electronics topologies of various applications.
- Skillful in hardware design, test and trouble-shooting of IGBT modules, power supplies, DC-DC converters, PV inverters, etc.
- Knowledge in product development process and supply chain management will be a big plus.
- Good written and communication skills in English.
- Strong team spirit and interpersonal skills; independent, responsible and outgoing character.

Appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work under a five-day week schedule.
