“Green Energy” has been MPT’s new initiative since 2009. The aim is to develop green technologies for high-rise buildings in Hong Kong based on the Smart Green Buildings (SGB) concept. MPT has been putting efforts to develop concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) modules and lithium (Li) ion batteries. Two US patents have been filed by 2010.
