Multi-mode RF Tuner (CMMB, DVB-T/H, T-DMB)

Digital TV is regarded as the most important technology paradigm shift in the first two decades of the new millennium. Digital TV content can be delivered to end users via digital cable, terrestrial or satellite technologies. Domestic DTV set, DTV receiver for personal computers, DTV function enabled cell phone and PMP, and digital set top box are key consumer electronic products.

ASTRI's multi-mode tuner at VHF, UHF and S-band supports China CMMB, Korea T-DMB and Europe DVB-H standards. It mainly targets at mobile TV applications. It uses advanced direct conversion architecture and is implemented with 0.13µm RF CMOS technology. Small chip size, low power consumption and high sensitivity are the key objectives of this multi-mode tuner development.
