Patents

Patents are ASTRI's important asset because they indicate the originality and worthiness of innovations and serve as a foundation for technologies transfer to the industry. The number of patent applications filed by ASTRI has been growing rapidly. Since inception, ASTRI has filed more than 680 patent applications in China, the U.S. and other countries.

As at 31 March 2012, a total of 142 US patents and 94 China patents have been granted to ASTRI. ASTRI has sold 9 of its granted US patents to industry partners.
