Nanometer System-on-Chip (SoC) Design Platform
Silicon processes have been migrating to finer geometries due to higher IC complexity and lower cost requirements. ASTRI’s Nanometer System-on-Chip (SoC) Design Platform was developed to improve the competitiveness of the local IC industry. This platform includes advanced nanometer SoC design knowhow as well as commonly used soft and silicon IPs. It can reduce the design effort and improve the quality of SoC designs in nanometer processes.
As the functional and implementation complexity of IC designs grow, the percentage of IP reuse increases drastically. To reduce the IC development cost on third party IP licensing, commonly used silicon IPs are included in ASTRI’s Nanometer SoC Design Platform. In addition to silicon IPs, this platform contains other process node independent soft IPs like SSD controller, USB3.0, 8051 MCU core, etc. Many different types of SoC can be created by leveraging the rich content of this platform.
