ASTRI Tele-care System

This project is putting together the ASTRI Tele-care System (ATS) for a pilot study for large-scale clinical trials. Cooperating with our partner, the Nethersole School of Nursing (CUHK), the Hospital Authority has identified a target group of COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases) patients in Princess Margaret Hospital for evaluating the benefits of tele-care. After that, it will be followed by a platform project which is going to develop an integrated multi-parametric monitoring device for patient to wear in 24hrs.
