ASTRI has continued to receive and welcome visitors from all over the world to strengthen the network with governments, industries and academia.

Mr Li Yiu-kei (standing), Director of IC Design Group, received a thirty-member delegation of the China Academy of Space Technology on 26 September and introduced the institute’s latest development and operation.
A group of senior management from Crédit Industriel et Commercial visited ASTRI on 6 October to learn about Hong Kong’s R&D, infrastructure and economic development. The guests showed great interest in the technology demos during the showroom tours.
Four delegations from Shenyang Municipal and Districts Governments visited ASTRI on 24, 25 and 26 October respectively to gain a better understanding of the institute’s development and explore collaboration opportunities. 
A 22 member delegation form Stockholm visited ASTRI’s R&D showrooms on 24 October to learn about the institute’s development.
Delegation from the Department of Defense, USA came to ASTRI on 25 October to learn about the innovation technology of Hong Kong. The guests showed great interest in ASTRI's technologies during the showroom tours.
ASTRI signed an MOU with Ningbo National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone to set up a joint lab on 25 October. CEO Dr Cheung Nim-kwan (centre, back row, top picture) and Director Wang Guo Hai (second from right, back row, top picture) of the Administration Office, Ningbo National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone witnessed the signing ceremony. Dr Wang Keh-chung (left, bottom picture), Vice President and Group Director of IC Design Group introduced the institute’s latest development during a showroom tour.
A group of Government Officials from Guangzhou Huangpu District visited ASTRI on 28 October. Director Li Yiu-kei (fifth from right) of IC Design Group received the guests and explored collaboration possibility.
Senior Manager Mr Ryan Chung (right) of Material and Packaging Technologies Group received a 40 member delegation from Fushan LED Lighting Association on 28 October, who came to gain a better understanding of the institute’s latest development and operation. 
Dr Francis Lee (left), Vice President and R&D Director of Material and Packaging Technologies Group warmly received Director Mr Ye Dong Bai (third from left) and delegates from the Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Technology on 1 November and discussed the participation of Hong Kong R&D Centres in the major national science and technology schemes. The guests showed great interest in ASTRI’s LED technology during the showroom tours. 
Dr Wang Keh-chung (left), Vice President and Group Director of IC Design Group warmly received Mr Robert Shapiro of IEEE Communications Society on 3 November, who came to gain a better understanding in the institute’s development and shared his experience in R&D.
CTO Professor Peter Yum (front) met with President and Chief Operating Officer Mr Christian Leicher (second from left) of Rohde & Schwarz on 4 November and explored further collaborations on communications technologies.
Horizon House Publications, Inc. publishes the Microwave Journal and organises trade events including the European Microwave Week. Its President Mr Ivar A. Bazzy (left) and Event Director Mr Michel Zoghob (right) made a special trip from the U.S. to ASTRI on 8 November. Mr Corbett Rowell, R&D Director of CT Group, had a pleasant discussion with the guests to explore collaboration possibilities when Horizon House is tapping into the China market.
A 41 member delegation from Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region visited ASTRI on 11 November to gain a better understanding of the institute’s development and operation. The guests also toured ASTRI’s booth at the InnoCarnival and found great interest in the exhibits and live demos.
CTO Professor Peter Yum (third from right) received an interview by a group of students from The Chinese University of Hong Kong on 14 November. He also introduced the institute’s operation and the R&D prospect in Hong Kong.
