Dr Teck Hu of Alcatel-Lucent

 Dr Teck Hu (right), Alcatel-Lucent Technical Lead on Heterogeneous Networks Standards Development delivered a presentation entitled "LTE-Advanced and Heterogeneous Networks" and gave a high level overview and summary of the key features of LTE-Advanced and the standardization efforts on 20 October.

 

 Mr Edwin Cheung, Manager, Bio-Medical Electronics Team of ASTRI introduced the latest development of his team in a seminar entitled "Minimally Invasive Surgery Goggle (MIS-G)" on 28 October.

 

ASTRI’s R&D members gave presentations in Inno Talks held during the InnoCarnival 2011:

 Dr Lydia Leung, Senior Manager of Material and Packaging Technologies Group gave an overview of the “Future Trend of Portable Healthcare Electronic Device” on 9 November and attracted a full house of audience.

 

 Partner of Fulbright & Jaworski Mr Ross Viguet hosted a seminar on the topic "New US Patent Laws" on 8 November during which he elaborated on the new first to file system and the new post issuance procedures.

 

 Dr Derek Lee, Manager of Communication Technologies Group gave presentation on the topic “ASTRI’s Recent Development in 4G/LTE Technologies” on Rohde & Schwarz Technology Day on 11 November.
