ASTRI holds seminars to introduce its latest technologies to customers and broaden the technological horizon of our colleagues.

 

 Experts from Avnet and Xilinx held a full-day “Advanced FPGA Design Workshop” at ASTRI on 13 April.

 

 

Mr Y.K. Li, Director of IC Design Group of ASTRI delivered a presentation entitled “Flexible and Adaptive Active Dynamic Backlight Control” in the IEEE Workshop on Solid-State Lighting held on 15 April.

 

 Mr Fredrick Cheng (centre), Manager of Bio-Medical Electronics Team of ASTRI delivered a presentation entitled “A Looking into Magnetic Resonance Imaging Incubator (MRI) and High Temperature Superconductor (HTS) Coil in MRI” on 29 April.

 

Mr Corbett Rowell, R&D Director, Communications Technologies Group, ASTRI delivered a presentation entitled “iPhone Antenna Technology” on 27 May.

 

 Professor Ada Poon, Department of Electrical Engineering, Stanford University, USA shared her research experience in a seminar entitled “Research on Millimeter-Wave Systems and Autonomous Implantable Devices” on 31 May.

 

 Dr Gregory W. Leman, Director of University Entrepreneurial Initiatives, Curtis Hankamer Chair of Entrepreneurship, Baylor University, USA gave a Special Presentation on Technology Entrepreneurship on 31 May.
