ASTRI staff walk for charity
In high spirit and with warm hearts, close to 80 ASTRI staff and their family members set off together for a 5.5km walk from the Bio-Informatics Centre in Hong Kong Science Park early in the morning on 27 February to raise fund for the Community Chest's children and youth services.
Led by CEO Dr Cheung Nim-kwan, the ASTRI team joined the other 14,000 participants of this year's New Territories Walk for Millions to stroll from Science Park to Tai Po Waterfront Park en route the Tolo Harbour Cycle Track. In this first ever participation of ASTRI in the Walk, the enthusiastic ASTRI walkers completed the trail in about two hours and raised more than HK$26,000 for the Chest.
