ASTRI co-organizes regional energy harvesting conference

In the Wireless Sensor Networks, Energy Harvesting and RFID Conference and Exhibition organized by IDTechEx in the Hong Kong Science Park on October 13-14, ASTRI showcased its piezo-electric powered wireless sensor for tire pressure monitoring.

ASTRI’s technology experts, including R&D manager Dr Ivan Sham, senior engineers Dr Chan Ho-yin and Dr Zhou Wei, delivered talks on energy harvesting related topics along with 40 international speakers during the conference. Dr Sham also represented ASTRI to be one of the judges for the IDTechEx Awards.

The event was the first of a global series of events on these topics held in Asia in which ASTRI was invited by IDTechEx as one of the co-organizers. The event brought key companies involved in energy harvesting and wireless sensor networks together, with visiting delegations from Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Europe and the USA.
