National Ministry of Industry and Information Technology
A delegation from the National Ministry of Industry and Information Technology visited ASTRI on 4 November to gain a better understanding of research and development in Hong Kong after attending a Briefing Session on Information and Communications Technology Standards – Mainland and Hong Kong.
The officiating guests toured the exhibition after the opening ceremony of InnoCarnival 2010 on 6 November. They included Mrs Rita Lau, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Ms Elizabeth Tse, Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Commerce and Technology), Dr Rosanna Wong, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, Ms Christine Fang, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service as well as Ms Janet Wong, Commissioner for Innovation and Technology.
