We have developed small size VCSEL (vehicle cavity surface emitting laser) transceiver modules with plastic packages for large core optical fiber systems. The VCSEL transmitters are well suited for applications requiring high speed and a wide operating temperature range. Its applications include automotive, consumer electronics and camera links.
