Electrical Write-once-memory (EWOM), as innovative, cost-effective and nonvolatile data storage, is attractive to the storage media. It complements optical memories (e.g. DVD+R) and electrical rewritable memories (e.g. flash). It takes the advantages of the combination of innovative write-once-memory and the mature IC fabrication technology to offer a new alternative to the portable and massive-storage market.
