The Team is exploring various methodologies to manage the IC's power, time skew, and design for high-speed data conversions.

These AMS building blocks will serve as the foundation for the design of stand-alone commercial product families or will be used in embedded applications for the building of complex SoCs for Application Specific Standard Products (ASSPs) with substantial mixed signal capabilities.

 

Applications
The AMS IC Design Platform would jump-start the regional IC Design industry by offering ready-to-deploy products, shortening their product development life cycle, and improving the overall cost and reliability of the products.

The current projects of the Team are expected to fill up the critical gaps towards an established AMS IC Design Library, and priority is given to customized projects on power management commercial products IPs, DC-DC converter IP for single chip battery chargers, and other portable consumer products. The IP would facilitate manufactuers to develop cost-effective and reliable integrated circuits for building products such as handsets, digital cameras, high-speed battery chargers and cameras.
